Being Comfortable With Chaos (Embracing the Uncertainty)
When you've got 33 tasks on your Todoist app that has been piling up, do you feel overwhelmed by everything that you supposedly have to do, or do you casually start working on 1 one of the tasks with a fun and positive attitude?
Being comfortable with "chaos" and embracing the uncertainty that comes with all things business related, is a super important mindset to maintain, as anything less will either drain your energy like a car riding with the handbrake down, or even worse, will completely cripple you to do nothing if you're "too overwhelmed"...
Being comfortable with chaos and embracing the uncertainty is a part of your character. It seems like it takes courage for those who stand outside, but in reality, it's just a simple mindset/identity trick to keep you 10x more productive.
In other words, being comfortable with chaos and embracing the uncertainty is important because anything less is a limiting mindset and is likely to slow you down.
The bad side of this mindset usually looks like perfectionism, needing things to "make sense", wanting to see the full picture before taking action, not clear on what to do and what the gameplan is, confused, overwhelmed, not motivated, lack of courage, fearful of getting out of comfort zone...
Once you're on the good side, there's no resistance to getting work done, no resistance to starting or planning what to do, you simply just start doing the task you feel like the most, and take every task as they come step by step...
Success may look nice, clean and super organized from the outside, but on the inside it's messy, chaotic, but it's a lot of fun.
